Guidelines for Food Stall registration

  • Organizers will only accept the food items listed below as valid preferences.

  • Only Home chefs are welcome to register for food stalls. Restaurant owners and/or professional chefs are not allowed.
  • Stall owners are allowed to have only one food item per stall (Out of 3 mutually agreed choices given while registration).
  • Please choose 3 food items from the list given. Please bear in mind the priority assigned for each food item in your form.
  • Menu will be awarded on a First Come First Serve basis. Registration acknowledgement email will contain the timestamp of your registration.
  • We work on a revenue sharing model. 20% of your revenue will go towards MMM with a slab of 200 € (explained in FAQs). Please note: This does not include the stall fee of 50€. Stall fee is to be paid at the time of registering your food stall and remains with MMM.
  • Registrations will close as soon as we receive 12 entries.
  • No one is allowed to serve drinks of any kind at their stall.
  • Stall allocation will be determined through a lottery during a conference call with all food stall owners. The organizers will notify everyone of the date and time for the call.

Hygiene related guidelines for food stall owners:

  • Individuals with any symptoms of illness (e.g., vomiting, diarrhea, fever, jaundice, sore throat with fever, infected skin lesions) are strictly prohibited from handling food.
  • Organizers must be immediately informed of any such illness.
  • Staff with cuts or wounds must cover them with waterproof dressings, ideally should not deal with the food or serving.
  • Food must be prepared in a hygienic manner, minimizing the risk of contamination.
  • Cleanliness: The entire stall area must be kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Inspection: Organizers reserve the right to conduct unannounced inspections of food stalls at any time to ensure compliance with these guidelines.
  • Immediate Disqualification: Any observed violation of these food hygiene guidelines, regardless of severity, will be grounds for immediate disqualification from the event.
  • Stall Closure: In cases of significant or repeated hygiene violations that pose an immediate risk to public health, organizers reserve the right to order the immediate closure of the food stall.
  • No Refunds: Disqualification or stall closure due to hygiene or any kind of violations of the guidelines will not result in any refunds of fees or expenses.
  • Final Decision: The organizers’ decision regarding hygiene compliance and any resulting penalties is final and binding.

By participating in this event, all food stall operators acknowledge and agree to strictly adhere to these food hygiene guidelines. The health and safety of all attendees are our utmost priority.

Logistics for Food Stall registration:

  • Stall Fee – 50€ and Deposit – 50€ to be paid upfront during registration as donation. (Link will be on the Jotform)
  • Entry to MH day food festival will be free only for the stall owner. Stall owner is allowed to keep only two helpers but they would have to pay for their entrance.
  • ⁠Each stall owner will be provided with 1.5m long bench and 2 low benches. 
  • Each stall owner will have access to 1.5m x 3m area of tent
  • Each stall owner should bring their own Hygiene related items (Cap, gloves) mandatorily
  • Each stall owner will be provided with bin bags which should be cleared by the owner at the end of food festival – in lieu of Deposit
  • Each stall owner should bring their own electrical appliances. Maximum wattage of 1500W will be provided
  • Each stall owner should bring enough supplies to serve food – paper plates, tissue paper, and take-away boxes
  • If you are providing a “paav” related dish, we expect you to serve “laadi paav”, burger breads from Super markets will not be allowed/expected. 

Disclaimer:

MMM reserves the right to disqualify stalls that do not comply with these guidelines.
MMM will have final say on food prices. Tentative prices for snacks is 3-5 and meals is 6-8

FAQ

Who can request for a food stall?

Only home chefs are allowed to participate in this food festival. Commercial setup owners, professional chefs are not eligible. 

How are food stalls assigned?

On First Come First Serve Basis.

For example – 

If Ravi proposes SPDP as Priority 1 at 08:00 am and Amey proposes SPDP as Priority 1 and Pav Bhaji as Priority 2 at 8:01 am, Ravi will get a stall for SPDP and Amey will get a stall for Pav Bhaaji.

Please explain Revenue sharing model

  1. First 200 EUR are not considered in a calculations. For the first 200 euros there is no need to share anything to MMM.
  2. Above 200 euros, 20% deduction will be given to MMM as a profit sharing.Some examples of profit sharing based on revenue made on the event day.
